Crown Auctions

A love of collecting antiques turned into a business for husband and wife team, Frank and Sue Ward.

After years of collecting antiques, the couple set up Crown Auctions in 1994. Since then the company has run more than 130 auctions, mainly specialising in antique and period furniture, collectables, china, crystal, porcelain, works of art, bronzes, rugs and other decorative items.

Crown Auctions however, is not limited to these items - It can sell almost anything. Frank has even auctioned a dead gum tree - the buyer paying $20 to use it as firewood.

Goods sold come from a variety of sources, including deceased estates, divorces, partnership dissolutions and private ventures.

In 1997, Crown Auctions commenced ONSITE AUCTIONS OF HOME CONTENTS, and is now AN ACKNOWLEDGED EXPERT AND LEADER IN THIS SPECIALISED MARKET.

With more and more people realising the benefits of buying antique furniture and collectables- because of their investment potential and their appeal - the couple finds a loyal following of regular customers attending their auctions.

Added to the potential of picking up a bargain, nothing quite beats the excitement of bidding at an auction. And from the seller's point of view, an auction is one sure way of selling an item at its true market value.

If you are interested in attending one of Crown's Auctions or have items you wish to sell, please give Frank or Sue a call on 9432 8225 or email to crownauctions@hotmail.com
